The City of Dallas says that "Zoning and its regulations help ensure a city will grow and change in a managed, predictable way to help safeguard the health, safety and welfare of the public." In this presentation, Paul Carden from Heritage Oak Cliff will be discussing some of the tools available to neighborhoods to manage, enhance, and protect the nature and character of their communities. From Conservation Districts to Authorized Hearings, Paul will go over the basics followed by some examples of neighborhoods where these tools can be applied!
