Want to Volunteer for Passport Oak cliff 2022? We Need you! |
Introducing Passport Oak Cliff, a family-friendly, community-friendly and business-friendly event designed to give people a good time and raise funds for the Heritage Oak Cliff Neighborhood Grant program.
Here’s how this will work: Visitors will have from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm each day to get their official “passport” stamped at each Oak Cliff neighborhood attraction along their tour. We’ll have dozens of fun and fascinating things to see, do and hear, for example:
The more stamps attendees collect, the more chances they’ll have to win great prizes at each of two end-of-day parties (4:00 to 6:00 pm), complete with food, drink, music and more fun for all.
This event is presented by Heritage Oak Cliff, a membership of unique and wonderful neighborhoods, each a showcase of the great diversity of Dallas. Each year, this organization awards thousands of dollars in neighborhood grants in two categories – Community Building and Neighborhood Improvements – to help improve the Oak Cliff community.
Any HOC neighborhood member is eligible to apply for a grant. And these grants can be used for anything from a new park to new signage to sidewalk repairs to neighborhood patrols. The funds raised by Passport Oak Cliff will help more neighborhoods make more improvements in the coming year, making Oak Cliff a better, even more special place to live for all of us. Want to be a sponsor? Please check out our sponsorship information.
Passport Oak Cliff is the perfect time to show off a highlight or two in your neighborhood. It can be an
old standby, something new or use your imagination. Creativity is encouraged. The types of attractions being discussed so far include:

No event can be successful without the help from great volunteers and we need you! Help in advance on the event to hang posters, work on logistics, and so much more. We need help with social media and getting out the word. And then there is the week of the event where we will need people to help in so many places. Please complete our form below and sign up to volunteer. We appreciate your help in making Passport Oak Cliff a success.
