Form Based Zoning




The following letter was sent to the Mayor and City Council to register the League's opinion on Form Based Zoning.

The Old Oak Cliff Conservation League respectfully requests that you follow the unanimous recommendations of the Planning Commission with regards to Form Based Zoning.

Davis Street Land Use Study Moves Forward

Davis Street Land Use Study

A public meeting was held at Hitt Auditorium at Methodist Hospital on October 22. Attended by some 200 concerned residents, the meeting was to inform the public about a large scale rezoning effort that is being considered along Davis St. and Bishop Ave. and surrounding areas on either side of those streets. Larry Good, of Good, Fulton and Farrell, was hired to conduct the study with the input of a group of ten local developers and residents from the area. Commercial property owners and developers funded the study.

The large area was divided into seven sub-areas with each of those being treated differently by the plan.
