Protecting Oak Cliff's Trees: How you and your neighborhood can make a difference
Our March Oak Cliff Live! event is one you don't want to miss!
- Where: Turner House, 401 N. Rosemont
- When: March 28, 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Please join us at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments. The presentation will begin at 7 p.m.
Our Dallas tree ordinance and neighborhood activism provide the best protection for the incredible trees that help define Oak Cliff. But sometimes our efforts fail or are not enough--as when a developer clear cuts acres of trees with no permit. Consider how you and your neighborhood can help protect and improve our trees and learn the latest on the Dallas tree ordinance. Each household can take home a free tree (sapling size) at the end of evening. Free and open to the public.

January Oak Cliff Live! recap:
Oak Cliff Live kicked off last month with a full house and a fascinating presentation focused on the history and preservation of Coombs Creek. Jim Barnes, an Oak Cliff native led the session.
Missed the January presentation?
Be sure to check out some of Barnes' research on the area. LOTS of great info there!
