Stone exterior of LARC Offices on Fort Worth Avenue in Oak Cliff

On Thursday May 31, Heritage Oak Cliff & Preservation Dallas are hosting a tour of the LARC offices on Fort Worth Avenue here in Oak Cliff. You may have driven by these offices many times.  Do you know how architecturally special they are?

It was originally planned, designed and constructed by Hoke Smith in 1940 to serve as the home office for his young, thriving architecture and engineering firm, who designed the 1939 P.C. Cobb Stadium (since demolished). Come check out this time capsule for yourself and learn more about the history of the building and the fascinating history of the Hoke Smith firm and their work!
